WOBOOZ 15

Wobooz 15 is my take on EL84 amps. I wanted to capture what I love most about these tubes in its sound - the beautiful "milky" midrange, rich harmonics, British tone, amazing response to articulation, and incredible dynamics. It's everything I heard on the records I grew up with, which had plenty of EL84s - Queen, Aerosmith, Tom Petty.

Robert "LITZA" Friedrich, who is in love with old VOX amplifiers and has used models from '65 and '68 on many of his albums, was involved in designing the Wobooz.

Of course, we didn't aim to copy those designs, but rather to capture the best features

of EL84 tubes that can be heard in those vintage amplifiers.

Wobooz offers both classic rock sound characteristic of single-channel - non-master amplifiers, and a modern and functional approach as it has two switchable channels - CLEAN and DRIVE with a BOOST option, all accessible via footswitch.

On board, you'll find a MASTER VOLUME and an essential buffered effects loop, also footswitch controlled.

Wobooz is a versatile, self-sufficient amplifier that can also serve as a platform for pedalboards.

A rock 'n' roll machine that performs excellently in the hands of both a metalhead (Litza) and a jazzman (Szymon Chudy).

The CLEAN channel features a large headroom and a wide gain range, so it can beautifully break up and provide the characteristic EL84 crunch. It works great with stompbox distortions.

The DRIVE channel gives you a range of gain from dirty clean to hi-gain, while maintaining clarity and dynamics. It's a very fast amplifier.

The overdrive sound is rich, organic, with a wide midrange, strong and fast low end, typical EL84 compression, and incredible response to the guitarist's articulation. What's extremely important is that it's "transparent" - you won't lose the character of your guitar, pickups, or even the pick you hold in your fingers.

Don't let the seemingly low power of the Wobooz fool you - these 15W play with such a range and dynamics that they can easily stand out among sections and amplifiers with much higher power. After striking the first note/chord, you feel the power, and you'll feel like you can misbehave 😉, while still being able to sound incredibly natural at ultra-low volume levels, maintaining dynamics and a wide frequency range.

Wobooz can operate in two power amp modes - PENTODE - maximum power of 15W and TRIODE - maximum power of 6W, resulting in a softer and darker sound.
